Wendy Rea

Married to David. Mother to Ailsa and Katrina.

From the programme for Hiccups, October 1988:-

Growing too tall for the ballet (wherein she had made a promising debut at the age of four), Wendy Rae instead concentrated on dancing in amateur shows and pantomimes, progressing to playing principals. Genasta A.D.C. of Surbiton (where she met her husband David) developed her acting talents in 'Wild Goose Chase' and the title role in 'The Reluctant Debutante' and her versatility was further extended by the Kingston Operatic Socirty, wherein, as well as singing and dancing, she choreographed several works. She has also danced at the Scala Theatre in London in 'Bitter Sweet'. Like David, she has appeared in plays and musicals for the D.D.O.S. and has worked with him in a number of O.D.S. productions, notably, 'Trap For A Lonely Man' which she also performed for the Westcott Player. In recent years she is perhaps best remembered for her intensely dramatic role in 'Murder Deferred'. David and Wendy have three daughters who seem to have inherited some of their parents' artistic skills.
