Alan is married to Tracey and lives in Ockley with their two children Evie and Hugo. Since 2015 they have all been part of the Ockley Dramatic Society.
By day Alan is a database developer, programmer and data analyst. By night he is the chairman of the Ockley Society, runs the village magazine and supplies all the sound and lighting technical expertise for the various productions throughout the year.
In 2019 he debuted as the director of two short comedy plays, with more plays planned for 2021 and beyond.
