Joan Haynes

From the programme for Hiccups, October 1988:-

Joan Haynes is a 'new girl' at Ockley having been a member for only 2 years.She was most recently seen in 'One Month To Pay'. Apart from Ockley, she has been a member of Betchworth Operatic and Dramatic Society for almost 20 years where she is a Vice President and also Secretary. She has had many principal parts in plays over the years including, 'Antigone' by Jean Anouilh and Fiona in 'How The Other Half Loves' by Alan Ackbourne. Most recently at BODS, she played a vampish nightclub singer in 'Salad Days' by Julian Slade and Dorothy Reynolds. Apart from acting she loves to sing and has been in many Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas for Betchworth with whom her daughter now performs and her son does the lighting. Her ambition is to get her husband on the stage just once before senility sets in.
