Penny Vickery joined Ockley Dramatic Society in July 1986. She had previously attended 'The Pattersons' Dancing Academy' in Coventry where she studied Ballet and Ballroom Dancing.
She appeared with the academy in 1968 in a production of 'Come Fly With Me' at the Coventry Hippodrome. Whilst at college, Penny worked backstage with the Royal Shakespeare Company at Stratford, where she helped with make-up for 'The Merchant of Venice'. Since then she has done back-stage work with various amateur dramatic societies and most recently has been involved with the productions of 'Murder in Company' and 'One Month To Pay' for the O.D.S.
